The Friends of Shikellamy State Park is hosting a brunch from 11 until 1 p.m. at the marina park on the island between Sunbury and Northumberland. Sean Farley will be playing some cool blues, while Big Momma’s serves up a warm breakfast. It’s $8 for a full breakfast or $4 for the continental breakfast. All are welcome. Proceeds help pay for the live music in the park throughout the summer.
Ricky and Harv will be at The Sunbury Social Club on the island from 7-10 and Skeeter’s Pit BBQ in Shamokin Dam will host Chicken Tractor out on the patio starting at 6 p.m.
And don’t forget about Burgess, Mitchell and Seal at The Bullfrog in Williamsport with their Jazz for Sunday Brunch from noon-4. Musicians are encouraged to join in. And as happens every Sunday, Smooth Country (Spike Stamm) is at Shamokin Dam Fire Co. from 3-6 p.m. for open mic.
Please send news about music and venues to Terry Baylor (firstname.lastname@example.org) by 5 p.m. on Monday for inclusion in Thursday’s “Now Here This.” Photos always welcome.
