Free local outdoor concerts this week (Aug. 6)

Summer Breeze Concert Series

Where: Wolfgang Park behind the Opera House, Catawissa (unless otherwise noted)

And: Rain location is the Catawissa Fire Company, South Fourth Street

Slifer House Concerts

When: 7 p.m.

Where: On the lawn at Slifer House Museum

And: Concerts conclude with ice cream socials around 8 p.m. Donations accepted during the performances to support the museum and defray concert expenses.

Aug. 16 — West Branch Barbershop Chorus (performs classic to contemporary tunes)

 

LEWISBURG

Lewisburg Arts Council Concerts

When: 7:30 p.m.

Where: Hufnagle Park (Market Street, between Fifth and Sixth streets)

And: In the event of rain concerts will be held in the Campus Theatre, 413 Market St. Rain information will be announced on the Art’s Council Facebook page, on local radio, and on the Campus Theatre marquee.

Aug. 8 — Commonwealth Brass Quintet

Aug. 15 — Lewisburg Showcase II: Rolf Sturm, Class of 1980, with Rob Henke

Music in the Park

Presented by The Improved Milton Experience (T.I.M.E.)

When: 6:30-8 p.m. every Thursday through Aug. 16. The series has been extended two additional weeks to make up for canceled performances due to weather conditions.
