For The Daily Item
— Alf Bashore, the master of the dulcimer, performs from noon-2 p.m. today at Brews N Bytes on Lower Mulberry Street in Danville. In fact, Alf is there on most Friday afternoons.
Elsewhere, the King Street Coffeehouse is open at 7 p.m. at 253 Front St. in Northumberland. It’s a real variety show, with jazz from Juice, country from Full Circle, and straight ahead bluegrass from Stained Grass Window. Hot and cold drinks and desserts are available during the evening, and for the $7 cover, it doesn’t get much better than this.
Geof Levan is at McGuigan’s Public house at Third and Market in Sunbury from 6:30-8:30 p.m., while Ricky and Harv are having a good time at the Scarlet D in Mifflinburg from 8-11 p.m.
