Catch the Burgess-Mitchell-Seal Trio at the Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport for the Jazz Workshop from noon-4 p.m. Then you can cross the street to the Genetti and take in the annual Billtown Blues Challenge at 4.
Two popular area musicians will compete in the solo category at the Challenge at the Hotel Genetti in Williamsport. Pianist Greg Burgess will tickle the ivories, vying with guitarist Doug McMinn for a slot at the International Blues Challenge next January.

In addition to a trip to Memphis, the winners get to open the 24th annual Billtown Blues Festival on June 9 at the Lycoming County Fairgrounds in Hughesville.
