— Kimbo and Bryan are on the schedule to play at Skeeters. The music will be held inside from 5-8 p.m. This acoustic duet plays all of your favorite covers songs and some original tunes. See more in the story in today’s Applause section.

Once again, it’s time for Fall Into The Blues at the Genetti Hotel on West Fourth Street, Williamsport.  This is a fundraiser to help defray costs for this year’s Blues Challenge winners Greg Burgess and The Pork Roll Project who must pay their own expenses when they go to Memphis to compete in the International Blues Challenge in 2014.

Doors open at 3:30 and the music starts at 4 p.m. There’s an $8 cover charge for members, while nonmembers  pay $10.  Sean Farley, The Roy-G- Blues band, Black Strat Blues Co. (a band from the Uptown Music Collective), Greg Burgess and The Pork Roll Project will all perform at this event.

Regular Sunday events include Burgess, Mitchell and Stetz at the Bullfrog playing jazz for Sunday Brunch from noon until 4 p.m. Musicians are encouraged to join in. And Smooth Country (Spike Stamm) will be at the Shamokin Dam Fire Co. from 3-6 p.m. for open mic.

Singer/songwriter Brian Lisik will be the guest on WQSU’s “Home Made Jam” at 2 p.m. Tune into 88.9 FM or on Tune-in radio app on any smart phone or device.

Send news about music and venues to Terry Baylor  (terrilm62@yahoo.com) by 5 p.m. on Monday for inclusion in Thursday’s “Now Here This.” Photos always welcome
