— Nate Myers, a Selinsgrove favorite, returns to his hometown tonight with his band The Aces as part of the summer concert series in the Commons downtown. Nate and the boys will serve up hot funk, blues and rock. Music starts at 6:30; it’s free.

Also tonight, at the Selinsgrove Hotel from 7-9, Frank Wicher and Kimbo Reichley. Chris Trasatti will join them on harmonica. 

Elsewhere, local blues gal Ann Kerstetter will be on the patio at Frosty Valley Country Club from 7-9.  She will be joined by special guest blues harpist John Sweeney. Frosty Valley is located at 2201 Bloom Road, Danville.

Greg Burgess and Beverly Conrad will be at Puirseil’s Irish pub in Lewisburg, behind the Bull Run Tap House, starting at 6, and Covert Action will play at the Catawissa Firefighters Carnival beginning at 7. Friday’s entertainment is Memory Lane and on Saturday, Lucky Afternoon will close out the carnival.
