Now Hear This: Saturday, Sept. 28

The Splendid Inventions will be featured at the Elias Center for the Performing Arts, 212-214 5th St., Mifflinburg, at 7 p.m. tonight.

Just Bob will be at the Steel Steeds Campgrounds’ pig roast. That’s located on Route 405 south of The Fence restaurant. The event goes from 10 a.m. until 10 p.m. with lots going on the whole time. The public is invited. Admission is $20.

Aftermath will be at the Hilltop, 115 Liberty Valley Road, Danville, at 10 p.m.; Jim Bell will be at McGuigan’s from 10 p.m. until 1 a.m., and  Jim McClincy will be at Edith’s Pot Pies, Fourth Street between C and D at the Bloomsburg Fair, from 5:30-7:30 p.m..

Memory Lane is keeping the oldies alive at the Shamokin Dam Fire Co. from 9 p.m. until midnight. Larry Smith will be at the Meiserville Inn from 7-9 p.m. while Bev Conrad and Greg Burgess are performing at Penn’s Tavern in Fishers Ferry, Route 147, from 6-9 p.m.

Also, 44 Mag is at the Riverside Inn in Montgomery with Eugene Beauty at 10 p.m.  The Frank Wicher Band will be at the Liberty Township Fire Co. for its “Beef and Brew” event. Located at 195 Mooresburg Road, Danville; $15 cover includes dinner or $5 without dinner.
