LEWISBURG — To celebrate the impact and continuing vibrancy of the Visuals Arts in the Lewisburg area schools there is an alumni art show at the newly redesigned Public Library for Union County gallery space, 255 Reitz Boulevard, Lewisburg.
The Lewisburg High School Alumni Art Exhibit will be held through Sept. 28. A reception will be held Tuesday, Sept. 10, from 5-7 p.m.
Work included in the show highlights the range of ways alumni continue to use their artistic talents, from needlework to product design to painting and several other two- and three-dimensional mediums. It features personal and professional expression by graduates from 1946 to 2008 including one of this year’s distinguished alumni award winners, Andy Shaw.
