— The Irish or at least the Irish spirit will descend upon the sleepy village of Millheim today. That’s when the Elk Creek Café’s delightful Irish Brunch will feature the Irish-themed and local sounds of Celtica.

Brunch runs from 11 to 4 p.m. while Celtica takes to the stage from 2 to 4 p.m.

The Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport will host its regular weekly dose of Jazz Workshop from noon to 4 p.m. Free show and lots of great tunes.

At the Spyglass Ridge Winery, PA Crude will take part in the Tim Kinsey benefit that runs from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The Crude ones will make a mighty sound from 2 to 5 p.m.

Get up close and personal with Strauss and Mozart when Lycoming College welcomes the Williamsport Symphony Orchestra’s Close up Concert series.

The concert will bring to life an assortment of compositions from two of the greatest composers and masters at creating music.

The concert starts at 5 p.m. at the Mary Welch Honors Hall, located in downtown Williamsport, about two blocks from Starbucks.

Back at the Shamokin Dam Fire Company on Old Trail, Smooth Country will make some mighty fine music that often gets the crowd out on the dance floor.

There is no cover for the 3 to 6 p.m. show that features among its member one of the coolest named crooners in the area, Spike Stamm.

Smoking hot ribs, a fantastic view and some hearty music can only mean one thing — Kimbo and Bryan will jam at Skeeter’s BBQ, Victor Lane, Shamokin Dam. From 5 to 8 p.m. these two diehard musicians will create some smoking hot sounds.
