— The Jazz Workshop at the Bullfrog Brewery in Williamsport features Greg Burgess, Andy Seal and Grammy Award-winning drummer Steve Mitchell. From noon until 2 p.m. the workshop features smooth jazz followed by a two-hour set of a funky, jazz jam session with area musicians joining in for a song or two.
This evening you can get into the Christmas spirit with the Morgan Family Band’s Christmas concert at the historic Simeon United Lutheran Church, 173 N. Center St. in Gratz. The free concert starts at 6:30 p.m. and will feature a collection of songs that celebrate this special time of year.
In Shamokin Dam, music gets bluesy and a tad spicy when Norry’s own Groove Goddess, Ann Kersetter, will end the weekend on a happy note with a high-energy performance at Skeeter‘s BBQ, Victor Lane. Kersetter, an amazing powerhouse of a performer, will be joined by guitarist Bryan Noaker and bassist Bill Stetz getting their groove on 5 to 8 p.m.
