My talents or hobbies: I love playing any kind of sport, hunting, fishing and woodworking.

Among the leadership positions I have held: Captain of the soccer, basketball and baseball teams.

Among my special achievements and awards: Honor and distinguished honor rolls; student of the month; in soccer, The Daily Item first-team Heartland Athletic Conference all-star; Mustang Tournament play of the day

How I have given back to the community: Assistant coach of an under-13 boys soccer team.

My plans upon graduation: I plan on attending Messiah College and majoring in engineering. I am planning on staying in the Valley.

Why I was selected as a Young American: Because I am a hardworking individual.

What you should know about me: I would like people to know that I would like to one day give back to my community.
