Last show for the year. Ridge & Valley String Band will play old-timey string band music, fiddle tunes, ballads, and Appalachian dance music. Band members are Mark Ralston (fiddle), Dave Lauder (guitar), Jina Gillis-Rosencrans (guitar) and Tom Rosencrans (banjo). Everyone takes a turn on vocals. The music is spirited and rooted in pre-bluegrass traditional music.

DePoterLand is Joe DeCristopher (vocals and guitar), George Potor (vocals and guitar) and Fred Strickland (vocals and 5-string bass). This drummerless rock band performs a mix of originals (often of a satirical nature) and fun reinvented covers. Musical terrain they travel varies from rock (’50s-’90s) to swing, country, reggae and jazz.

John Sweeny and Friends brings a fine mixture of performers.  With his harp and soft blues voice, Sweeney and friends will make sure, once again, that folks coming to this end-of-season show will be tapping their feet.

Karen Nogle and Mark Tomeo — 7-8 p.m., Bull Run Tap House dining room, Market Street, Lewisburg. Special tunes of jangle pop and jazz. Free.

The Frank Wicher Band – 8-11 p.m. April 18, The Links at Buckhorn, 55 Williamsburg Boulevard, Bloomsburg. Country music. Free. For more information call (570) 387-8339.

Ricky & Harv — 8-11 p.m. Scarlett D, 254 Chestnut St., Mifflinburg. No cover. Call (570) 966-5400.

Brandon “The Electric Piano Man” Barnhart — 10 p.m. to 1 a.m. Daddy McFatty’s, 95 Queen St., Northumberland. No cover. All covers — classic rock, pop, country, etc., all done on piano.
