Danville Arts Council readying first art show

DANVILLE — Members of the Danville Arts Council will hold their inaugural exhibit, “Beginnings,” during this year’s Arts and Crafts Fair.

“Beginnings’ will feature works from regional artists, amateur, student, or professional level, utilizing 2D or 3D artwork. The show will take place Friday, Sept. 6 through Sunday, Sept. 8, at the Pi-Art Squared Gallery at 14R East Mahoning Street. The exhibit will also be open from Friday, Sept. 13, to Sunday, Sept. 15. The exhibit will be open from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays and 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Sundays.

Artists interested in participating can drop off their work on Sept. 4 between the hours of 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. There is no fee to enter the exhibit, though donations will be accepted.
