— DANVILLE — The death of an infant boy in a downtown apartment is not suspicious, according to state police.

An autopsy was conducted Monday at Lehigh Valley Medical Center in Allentown to determine the cause of the 4-month-old’s death.

Among those on hand for the autopsy was trooper Jim Nizinski, the investigating officer.

Autopsy results were not conclusive, said trooper Matthew Burrows, a public information officer.

Burrows said further testing will probably be done.

It was not known if Montour County Coroner Scott Lynn attended the autopsy.

The baby, identified as Mason Todack, was unresponsive at 5:11 a.m. Saturday in an upstairs apartment at 335 Mill St.

His mother, Lisa Todack, found him, according to police and Montour County District Attorney Rebecca Warren.

State troopers from Milton and a state police forensics van were summoned to the apartment.

State police investigated because Danville police Sgt. William Wilt III was related to the baby, Warren said.
