— DANVILLE – A car drove into a ditch near the intersection of Route 11 and Ridge Road at around 4:30 p.m., Thursday. According to Joe Stigerwalt, captain of the Washington Fire and Hose Company, the driver said another car pulled out in front of her, causing her to swerve and go into the ditch. The driver was the only occupant of the car and declined to give her name. She did not require medical treatment following the crash. State police from the Milton barracks said a report would be issued later Thursday.
Traffic was reduced around the accident scene. The vehicle was towed from the scene. Responding were Danville Fire Department, East End Fire Department, state police, Danville Ambulance and the Danville Fire Police.
