RIVERSIDE — Dumpster Day has been scheduled for May 4 within the borough, on Avenue D across from the Southside Fire Department.
From 7 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., Riverside officials will be collecting “the normal stuff you collect in your basement and garage,” said Peter Fleming, president of the borough council.
The price to collect tires will be $6, up last year from $5. Any appliance that contains refrigeration for materials will be $15 to take away.
At no charge, residents can also drop off electronics, such as keyboards and computer monitors, in a 20-yard dumpster.
IDs will be checked to ensure attendees are borough residents, said Fleming. There is no limit on the amount of items a person can bring with them to drop off. No yard waste, construction materials, tree limbs or paint will be accepted.
