CHICKEN & WAFFLE DINNER/Catawissa
A chicken and waffle dinner served 4-7 p.m. at Catawissa American Legion. Cost is $7/adults and $3 for ages 10 and younger.
Evangelical Community Hospital’s Health and Wellness holds a flu clinic from 10 a.m.-noon at the Turbotville National Bank. The bank will pay for half the price of the influenza vaccine for all cash paying customers. Vaccinations are available to individuals 3 years of age and older. Cost for a flu shot is $30 and pneumonia vaccines available for an additional $65. Bring insurance cards. In addition to the clinic appointments, can be made at the health and wellness center at 7095 W. Branch Highway, from 9 a.m.-noon Mondays, noon-4 p.m. Wednesdays and 9 a.m.-noon or 1-3 p.m. Fridays. FRENCH FILM SERIES/Bloomsburg
The French film, “Il y a longtemps que je t’aime (I’ve Loved You So Long,)” will be shown at 7 p.m. in McCormick Hall, room 2303 at Bloomsburg University of Pennsylvania. Free to the public.
The Zerbini Family Circus performs at 5 and 7 p.m. under a modern big top at The Bloomsburg Fairgrounds. Children admitted free and advance tickets available at local businesses. Adult tickets are $12 at the door.
“Seeds of Wisdom” weekly Bible Study begins at 7 p.m. today at the Danville Seventh-day Adventist Church (Protestants), 6 Heather Hills Drive. The Parables of Christ are the topic of discussion. New King James version Bibles will be supplied for study purposes. Informal study and questions are welcome regarding any spiritual matter. Registration appreciated.
