DANVILLE — A Berwick woman, who was run over by her own car Wednesday in Geisinger Medical Center’s parking lot, was discharged from the hospital Friday.
Kathy Forsythe, 64, had been listed in serious condition at Geisinger, officials said.
Mahoning Township police believe the emergency brake wasn’t properly in place when she exited the Toyota Prius. The driver’s door was open and knocked Forsythe down. She was pinned under the car after it rolled on her.
Two people at the scene were able to lift the car enough to relieve pressure on her head until emergency personnel arrived.
