DANVILLE — The borough conducted a lottery Friday with no cash winnings involved.
It was the annual lottery to determine the 50 people allowed to hunt on part of the borough farm for deer and turkey. The hunters are allowed to use flint lock, inline muzzle loaders, shotguns with slugs and bows and arrows.
Receptionist Donna Murphy drew the names while Brindy Feese, accounts receivable/accounts payable clerk, recorded the names. A total of 65 people competed in the lottery, available to residents in the 17821 ZIP code.
Winning names were Ronald Dutzer, Steve Brosious, Caleb Clark Jr., Robert Blee, Thomas Hogendobler, Scott Baun, Patrick Mutchler, Mark Webb, Keith Gerringer, Eric Gill, Gary Brent Sr., Steve Shaffer, Mark Zamboni, Zachary Brent, Gary Brent Jr., Stephen Humphries, David Wydra, Bill Brady, Jon Wetzel, Terry Heimbach, John Hack, Joseph Diehl, Michael Karnes, Marc Maturani and Michael Dennen.
