February Blues

DANVILLE — DANVILLE – The First Annual Destination Blues Winter Music Festival will be held in Columbia and Montour Counties Feb. 7 and 8.

The theme is “Your winter blues heaven on Route 11.”

Organized by Downtown Bloomsburg Inc. and the Moose Exchange, the festival will include local, regional and national blues performers at multiple venues and bus transportation among the venues and participating hotels.

“Brews & Blues” will be held Feb. 7 with music all evening long by local and regional bands at four area brew pubs – Old Forge in Danville, Berwick Brewing and Marley’s and Turkey Hill in Bloomsburg. For $5 per person, those attending can ride buses among the venues and to and from their hotels in the two counties.

National acts appearing at the Moose Exchange during “Bluesburg” Feb. 8  include Moreland & Arbuckle, Alexis P. Suter, Clarence Spady and Lonnie Shields.

Tickets are $20 in advance through (search Destination Blues) or $25 at the door.
