Police: Fire victims’ mother harassed

DANVILLE — A woman whose three sons died in a fire was the victim of a recent domestic incident, according to Danville Police Chief Eric Gill.

Robert C. Crane, 40, of Berwick, was cited for harassment of Christine Dissinger, of 22 L. Mulberry St.

According to the citation Gill filed against Crane, he shoved or struck Dissinger May 16 outside 22 L. Mulberry St.

The citation was filed in the office of Montour County District Judge Marvin Shrawder.

Although the citation didn’t list Dissinger’s address, Gill said she lives at 22 L. Mulberry St.

If found guilty, Crane faces a maximum of a $300 fine and 90 days in jail, Gill said.

Dissinger’s sons Arthur, 2; Gavin, 7; and Daniel, 13, died in a fire at their home at 60 S. Smith Road in Rush Township on April 4.
