MARC trail clearing day moved to Thursday, volunteers welcome

— DANVILLE – The Montour Area Recreation Commission has moved this week’s North Branch Canal Trail work day from Wednesday, June 25, to Thursday, June 26, due to weather concerns.

Work will begin at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 11:30 a.m. Volunteers who would like to assist in clearing brush from the trail corridor can contact MARC director Stoudt at 570-336-2060 or at montrrec@ptd.net.

Their next work day is tentatively scheduled for Tuesday, July 1, from 8 a.m. to 11:30 p.m.
