Heritage Heights residents collect for Dissingers

DANVILLE — DANVILLE — Residents of Heritage Heights have reached out in the past to assist those in need.

Tenants recently helped the Dissinger family, which lost three young brothers in a fire April 4 in Rush Township.

Residents collected 14 bags of food and clothes for the family. They also collected money for them.

The money was deposited in the fund established at M-C Federal Credit Union in Danville. They presented the food and clothes to the family, according to project organizers Barb Bickhart and Pat Zeiber.

The residents held their annual Easter party, featuring a covered dish provided by tenants, Tuesday.

The Singing Mailman, Jim McClincy, entertained.

They celebrate holidays and hold a special event every month.
