Bloomsburg Nationals coming

BLOOMSBURG – The Bloomsburg Nationals, powered by Carlisle Events and presented by PPG, will be held Aug. 8-10 at the Bloomsburg Fairgrounds.

Coordinators encourage owners of all cars, trucks and motorcycles of varying eras, makes, models and styles to participate.

A swap meet, car corral and show field will be presented. The fair association and the Dream Machines Motor Club will assist.

Activities beside the car show with awards presented to participants during an awards parade will include live music, food, games and more.

For the first time ever at the Bloomsburg Nationals, a demolition derby will be showcased. The show Aug. 9 and backed by JM Productions, is included with the cost of admission. The derby will have open sign-ups prior to the nationals weekend.

A Flames R’ Us Flame Throwers will present a special performance at 8 p.m. Aug. 8.

A car cruise-in parade will be held at 2 p.m. Aug. 8 in downtown Bloomsburg. After the parade, the cars will be parked for a handful of hours so drivers and spectators can mingle.

Official sponsors of the parade are Marley’s Brewery and Grille and the West End Ale Haus.
