Volunteers needed

DANVILLE — DANVILLE – Volunteers of the Danville Area Diaper Bank are desperately seeking people to help unload a truck full of diapers Feb. 22.

A tractor trailer is expected to deliver nearly 250,000 diapers to Christ Memorial Episcopal Church, at 120 E. Market St., at 8 a.m.

“We would like to appeal to the community for help,” said diaper bank spokeswoman Molly Jacks.

She said the delivery results from “very generous contributions from Christ Memorial and many donors.”

“Any able-bodied person is welcome,” she said.
