Lenten teas to be held

DANVILLE — DANVILLE – Five Lenten teas are planned in the area.

The teas all begin at 1:30 p.m.

A variety of programs will be presented. Anyone may attend one or all of the teas.

Church Pastor L. Keith Pittsnogle will speak about World Day of Prayer at the first tea March 12 in Pine Street Lutheran Church, 407 Pine St.

Judy Dobson will discuss human dignity and life from beginning to end at a tea March 19 in Grove Presbyterian Church, 330 Bloom St.

Deb Smith, of Therapeutic Riding Center, will be guest speaker for the tea March 26 in Trinity Lutheran Church, 215 E. Market St.

First Baptist Church, 20 Brookside Drive, will host the April 2 tea.

Genie Hannon will discuss mission trips to Jamaica at the April 9 tea in St. Joseph’s Church, 18 Center St.
