Southside Fire Company report for April 2014

— RIVERSIDE – Southside Fire Company answered nine calls and volunteered 126 man hours during the month of April. The calls answered by the fire company are as follows:

- April 4, structure fire, 60 South Smith Road, Rush Township; 8 firefighters, volunteering 52 man hours

- April 7, trees and wires down, 2513 Snyder Town Road, Rush Township; 4 firefighters volunteering 4 man hours

- April 7, structure fire, 501 Laura Drive, Mahoning Township; 6 firefighters volunteering 6 man hours

- April 8, EMS assistance, 804 Sunbury Road, Riverside; 8 firefighters volunteering 4 man hours

- April 10, brush fire, 73 Susquehanna Road, Mayberry Township; 3 firefighters volunteering 1.5 man hours

- April 17, brush fire, Ralpho Township; 2 firefighters volunteering half a man hour

- April 19, structure fire, 915 Tower Drive, Cooper Township; 9 firefighters volunteering 9 man hours

- April 20, structure fire, BJ’s Steak & Ribs, Danville; 11 firefighters volunteering 44 man hours

- April 25, brush fire, 34 Murphy Road, Rush Township; 5 firefighters volunteering 5 man hours
