Nobody hurt in school van crash

MAHONING TWP. — No injuries occurred in a school van-car accident Monday morning on Railroad Street.

Two young children were in the school van, which operates a transport service, Mahoning Township police said.

Police said a car, operated by Jack McElwee, struck the back of the 2008 GMC Savannah van. McElwee was driving a 1998 Lincoln Town Car. Fred Keeley was driving the van, police said.

The 8:02 a.m. accident occurred near St. Cyril Academy.
