LEWISBURG - Justin Hill, the Lewisburg High School’s Band Director has been the band director for 12 years.
He says band is so popular because it is a place where people want to be and it is a well-known and successful organization.
Perhaps that is why it attracts 135 of Lewisburg’s students. Justin says the most popular instrument is the trumpet closely followed by the alto saxophones.
He also says next year he could probably use more trombones or any low brass players.
The band’s signature song is called “Hey Baby” although the student’s is “In the Stone” by Earth Wind and Fire.
