RICHFIELD — Jeffrey E. Stock’s death Saturday night by a single gunshot to the abdomen is being investigated as a homicide by state police at Selinsgrove.

“Right now we’re looking at a homicide,” said Mifflin County Coroner David P. Lynch said of Stock, 46, of Richfield.

Lynch said death was due to one gunshot wound in the abdomen at about 10:20 p.m. Saturday.

Stock died in a Seven Stars Road home in Richfield, but was pronounced deceased by Lynch at 11:37 p.m. at Lewistown Hospital.
