Congressman discusses gasoline prices Asten SmithThe Daily Item Carney told the citizens that we need to continue to support our troops, ensuring they are adequately equipped overseas and also need to support military families here.
The congressman also touched on the economy, saying that solving the oil crisis would help. On health care, he advocated more government involvement in preventative care. “You get a lot more bang for your buck,” he said about preventive practices. Taking individual responsibility for our own health, he said is also a move our country needs to make. “We need to start living like we used to.”
