Area high schools are naming homecoming kings and queens this month. Here are photos of local homecoming royalty.

Ed Lu and Hannah Kronenwetter were named this year's Danville Homecoming King and Queen Saturday night at their homecoming dance. Ed's parents are Youmin Lu and Anna Song. Hannah's parents are Chris and Carol Kronenwetter. The Danville News


The Warrior Run homecoming queen crowned Friday night is Morgan Wagner, of Watsontown, daughter of Geona Fausey, Shane Fausey, and Robert Wagner III. The king is Taylor Anspach, son of Troy and Tami Anspach.


Whitney Daycock and Karl Howerter are this year's Line Mountain Homecoming King and Queen.


Lewisburg High School homecoming queen Barbara Sprunt, 17, was escorted by her father, Brinkley Sprunt, during Friday's football game against Mifflinburg.


Whitney Daycock, of Leck Kill, is Line Mountain's 2009 homecoming queen. Her parents are Ken and Cheryl Daycock.


Mifflinburg Area Senior High School on Friday night crowned Janelle Sheesley homecoming queen. Janelle, 17, is the daughter of Dave and Beate Sheesley, of Mifflinburg. She was escorted by Hadyn Derr, 17, son of Robert and Laurie Derr, of Swengle. For The Daily Item


Selinsgrove Area High School on Friday crowned Hope Burke as homecoming queen. Hope is the daughter of Brian and Toni Burke, of Selinsgrove. She was escorted by her brother, Christian.


Midd-West's homecoming 2009 king and queen are Jake Wenrich, of Beavertown, son of Bill Wenrich and the late Kim Glass, and Tristyn Mitchell, of Troxelville, daughter of Dan and Lisa Mitchell. The Daily Item
