— LEWISBURG — A Michigan man charged in Union County for allegedly sexually assaulting a 7-year-old girl and a 10-year-old boy during a visit in Lewisburg for a wedding waived his preliminary hearing Thursday.
The formal arraignment for Christopher Bryan Robbins, 30, of Lansing, Mich., is set for May 6 in Union County Court.
Robbins is charged with involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, aggravated indecent assault of a child and two counts of criminal attempt to commit involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, all felonies of the first degree.
He also is charged with indecent assault of a person younger than 13, a misdemeanor.
The Lansing Police Department contacted the Buffalo Valley Regional police about the incident, which allegedly happened in September. Lansing police received the initial complaint Oct. 29 from the mother of the two victims.
