LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Kiwanis Club is continuing the “proceeds sharing program” associated with its annual pancake breakfast that will be held from 7-10 a.m. April 27 at the Lewisburg Club, 131 Market St. One half of the price of each ticket purchased will be donated to the local Kiwanis Charity of the purchaser’s choice.
Among the organizations that may benefit from the proceeds of the breakfast include: Seven Mountains Audubon Society for their elementary school science education program, the American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Lewisburg Little League, the Girl Scouts Hemlock Council, Boy Scouts Susquehanna Council, Heiter Community Center, Special Olympics, Lewisburg High School Key Club, Lewisburg Area School District Honor’s Banquet, CROP Walk, Meals on Wheels, Camp SETEBAID, a Nicaraguan school, Women’s Expectations Center, Cassie’s Cupboard for Geisinger’s Children Center, and Public Library for Union County.
The ticket purchaser needs only to check the name of the Kiwanis charity on the back of the ticket so that the agency may receive one half of the purchase price. Cost of tickets for the breakfast is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children ages 6-12. Children five and under get a free breakfast. All ticket purchases are made at the door.
