LEWISBURG — Raffle tickets for the Packwood House Museum’s annual Champagne and Orchids Dinner fundraiser are now on sale in the museum’s Tour Center at 15 N. Water St., Lewisburg.
Don’t miss your “chance” to enjoy a gourmet dinner served in the Packwood House Museum dining room on Saturday, April 6. The tickets are $5 each or six tickets for $25. For this contribution, the winner will share a memorable dinner with their seven invited guests. The drawing for the raffle will be held on March 23 at 4 p.m. in the museum’s Tour center.
The dinner will be prepared and served by the Catering Class of the School of Hospitality, Pennsylvania College of Technology. The School of Hospitality operates the renowned Le Jeune Chef restaurant located on the college’s Williamsport, Pa., campus.
Starting with champagne and hors d’oeuvres, a seven course dinner will follow. A tour of the first floor of the museum will be conducted as the table is prepared for dessert and coffee. The memorable evening will conclude as the diners return to the Reception Room to enjoy an aperitif and reminisce about this unforgettable evening.
Supporting this annual fundraising event offers the winner an opportunity to entertain family and friends in a unique setting at a surprisingly low cost and to sustain Packwood House Museum and its positive contribution to life in the Susquehanna Valley.
