Union County Historical Society Logo Contest Begins

— LEWISBURG — The Union County Historical Society, recognized as the official county historical society in 1963, is sponsoring a contest to create a new symbol and logo for the Historical Society.  

The contest is open to any resident of Union County or anyone attending school in Union County. The winner will receive $100.  All entries will become the property of the Union County Historical Society.

No more than three entries may be submitted by an entrant. The logo should not exceed 5 inches by 7 inches and may be oriented horizontally, vertically or be square. All submitted work must be original and not based on a pre-existing design.

Two versions of the design should be submitted—one in black and white and one in color. There are two methods for submitting a logo design:

Designs or logos must have the ability to be easily reproduced on letterheads, brochures, posters, and online.

The deadline for entries is April 15. Entrants will be notified of the result by the Union County Historical Society, and winners will be announced in May.
