LEWISBURG –Registration is still open for the first Running of the Elves 5k planned for Saturday, December 8, 2012 beginning at the Lewisburg High School at 10:30am. More than 150 have registered with the number expected to increase by race day. The event is chip timed and awards will be given to the top three in each age category. The event is open to participants of all ages. Walkers are welcome. A Reindeer Fun Run for children will be organized by Bucknell students and will start at 11:30am. Pre-registration is encouraged for both events on www.fitforfunds.com/elves5k. Race day registration will be offered and will begin at 9am in the High School cafeteria.
