LEWISBURG -- The Lewisburg Junior Girl Scout Troop 61280 led by Liz Mahoney recently made 874 dog biscuits and donated them to Haven to Home Canine Rescue. The treats were presented to Haven to Home volunteers and then distributed along with handmade cards from the girls to foster families. The junior scouts were working on their community service project towards their Bronze Award. It also coordinates with the theme of Purr-fectly Paws-Itive for the 2013 Girl Scout Event which will be held at the Susquehanna Valley Mall on March 2.
