— LEWISBURG — The Lewisburg Kiwanis Club is continuing the “proceeds sharing program” associated with its annual pancake breakfast that will be held on April 26 from 7 to 10 a.m. at the Lewisburg Club, 131 Market St. One half of the price of each ticket purchased will be donated to the local Kiwanis Charity of the purchaser’s choice. Among the organizations that may benefit from the proceeds of the breakfast are the following: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Heiter Center, Lewisburg Little League, Lewisburg Area High School Key Club, Ronald McDonald House, Special Olympics, Seven Mountains Audubon Society, American Red Cross, Camp Setebaid, Fourth of July Committee, Evangelical Hospital For Bicycle Helmets, Expectation Women’s Center, HOBY, Public Library for Union County, Kiwanis Scholarship Fund-LAHS, CROP-World Hunger, Lewisburg Arts Festival, or the Lewisburg Area High School Honors Banquet. The ticket purchaser needs only to write the name of the Kiwanis Charity on the back of the ticket so that the agency may receive one half of the purchase price. Price of the tickets for the breakfast is $5 for adults and $2.50 for children ages six through 12. Children five and under get a free breakfast.
