LEWISBURG — The Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning's Tea and Talk program will host a series of informal tea-time programs in March exploring art, poetry and Union County's bicentennial. Tea & Talk begins at 3:30 p.m., with doors opening at 3 p.m. Each event includes teatime refreshments and is held in partnership with Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village at The Village Common on Tressler Boulevard in Lewisburg.
The Tea & Talk schedule begins Tuesday, March 5, with the discussion, "An Artist's Narrative," with Joanne Landis, who will talk about her career (as a model, illustrator, stylist, set designer, actor, teacher, painter, muralist and writer), the creative process and how it extends into these areas. Landis is a figurative and narrative painter whose work can be seen in Studio #22 at The Pajama Factory in Williamsport.
