LEWISBURG — LEWISBURG – Don’t stop believin’ kids, your teachers will do just about anything when you make them proud – even a flash-mob to a Journey tune.

If you  have to see it to believe it, you’re not alone: There are nearly 25,000 views in 24 hours of  the video of Thursday’s flash-mob dance of Linntown Intermediate School teachers performing to “Don’t Stop Believin’.”

The video is on the Linntown administrative site, which has limited access, Principal Paula Reber said. But it has been shared so many times that “we’ve gone viral!” she said Friday. It is also posted on Linntown’s Facebook page, where more than 300 people have “liked” it and 65 people have left comments. It’s been shared 156 times from Facebook alone.

On the video, surprised students squeal with delight and sing along while their teachers dance during the “Dragon Dash Dance Party Recess,” an event to thank students for their successful fund-raising during the Dragon Dash, Reber said.

“The Linntown staff wanted to give their own special thank-you to the students,” Reber said.

Dragon Dash is an event for Linntown and Kelly Elementary students in which they walk or run laps during a 15-minute period during school hours. The two schools raised more than $35,000, bringing the five- year total to more than $130,000.

As of Friday morning, 24,592 people have seen the video. Go to Linntown’s Facebook page to see it or check it out right here.
