The Daily Item

— LEWISBURG — Calling all readers, actors, and kids who want to have some fun. The Public Library for Union County’s Young Reader’s Theater begins Sept. 5 with The Grinch Who Stole Christmas.

Children in grades 2-6 are invited to join the fun in acting out this holiday story — no acting experience or memorization is necessary. The goal of this program is to enhance reading fluency and boost confidence, while having fun.

The group meets at 6:30 p.m. the first and third Thursday of each month with a final performance on Dec. 5. Register to attend by calling (570) 523-1172 or visiting the circulation desk.
