— SHAMOKIN DAM – The Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce has introduced its slate of 2013 officers for the Board of Directors.
As newly appointed leaders, the team will strive to strengthen and advance the business climate and quality of life in the Valley while connecting with the community, chamber officials said.
Jim Barbarich, who previously served as the vice chairman, has been newly appointed as chairman of the board. He is the president and chief executive officer of M-C Federal Credit Union in Danville
The former director of Region 1, David Herbert, has been promoted to vice chairman. He is the controller and chief financial officer at Keystone Building Products, Inc.
Toney Horst, First Keystone Community Bank in Berwick, has served as the board treasurer for two years and will continue her role.
Denise Prince, system vice president of value-based care and vice president of population health at Geisinger has completed her two-year term as chairman of the board and now becomes the immediate past chairman.
Charlie Ross continues to serve as the president and chief executive officer of the Greater Susquehanna Valley Chamber of Commerce.
