Upcoming events for the Midd-West region for today (Sunday) and Monday include:


HAM & POTATOES DINNER, McClure: The McClure Volunteer Fire Company hosts a ham and brown potatoes and lettuce with hot bacon dressing dinner 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at the fire station, West Specht Street. Dinner is all-you-can-eat including dessert and beverage. Takeouts available. Cost is $9 for adults, $5 for children ages 6 to 12 and free for children under age 6. CONCERT, Mount Pleasant Mills: The group "Majesty" from Penn View Bible Institute will present a concert at 10:20 a.m. More information, (570) 539-8614.


SUMMER READING PROGRAM, Middleburg: The summer reading kick-off party begins at 1 p.m. at Middleburg Library. Snacks, games and activities.

BLACK COW DAY & EXERCISE, Penns Creek: Penns Creek Adult Resource Center, Richard Road, opens at 9 a.m. Visitors can play Rummikub, Aggravation, table shuffleboard, Wii, work on a puzzle or just socialize. Lunch at 11:30 and for a donation includes sausage with peppers and onions, whole grain hot dog roll, baked beans, carrots, peanut butter cookie and milk and root beer floats (Black Cows).
