— Middleburg boasts a lot of great stores and shops to check out and enjoy. From IGA grocery store in town to Cole's Hardware on the borough's outskirts, and so much in between, there is something for everyone.

But have you ever checked out Paula's Primitive Place?

Located on the north end of town along Route 304, Paula's can be found in the same complex as Amanda Aurand's Tax Service across the street from Len Krautheim Auto Sales.

The shop has been open since Oct. 1and is a labor of love for Paula Snook, of Middleburg. She has the small store filled with creative signs, decorations, candles, pictures, cupboards, furniture and various knick-knacks that cover a wide variety of themes and styles.

What Snook doesn't create herself she gets from other local sources.

Stop in Thursdays and Fridays from 10 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Snook has also opened up a stand at the Street of Shops in Lewisburg. For more information, call 541-2850 or check out Paula's Primitive Place on Facebook.
