BEAVER SPRINGS — For the 85th consecutive year, the Beaver Community Fair will cap off another summer when it opens Sunday.
The fairgrounds at Routes 522 and 235 in Beaver Springs will feature carnival rides, food vendors and numerous agricultural exhibits during its seven day run from Sunday through Saturday, Sept. 21.
There will be daily livestock shows, including horse, rabbits, swine and sheep, as well as tractor pulls, kids games, a hay bale toss, forestry skills and tug-of-war contests and beauty pageant.
Admission is free to all the first day of the fair and daily for children under 5. From Monday through Saturday the admission fee to all over age 5 is $3 per person. Parking is free and rides are $5 a day.
