The Daily Item
— A cloudy, sort of yucky Thursday today makes one yearn for the warmer times and activities of Spring.
Like Easter and egg hunts, among other things. Kids love a good egg hunt ... and so do more adults than would like to truly admit it.
Soon, you will be able to find a slew of Easter egg hunts planned for the Midd-West region in The Daily Item newspaper's calendar. Until then, enjoy the attached photo of a previous egg hunt held at the Port Ann Wesleyan Church along Troxelville Road west of Penns Creek.
The folks at Port Ann Wesleyan do a good job of making the event more than just an egg hunt -- there is an Easter-themed program (surprising, I know) and numerous other activities planned for the family.
This year's event will be held on Saturday, March 23. Get more info about the hunt or the church in general by calling Pastor Paul Sheets at 837-3188 or visit portannwesleyan.org.
Where is your favorite place to participate in egg hunts in our region? We'd love to hear about it!
