Giant celebrates 90 years with customer appreciation event Friday

MONROE TWP. — Giant/Martin's Food Stores invites customers and community members to join them in celebrating its 90th anniversary. On Friday, Oct. 4, from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. and also from 4-6 p.m., Giant will hand out free slices of cake and free apple slices, while supplies last, to customers and community members at all of its stores.

Locally, Giant is located in the Monroe Marketplace, off Routes 11/5 in Monroe Township.

“Our valued customers are the reason we have been able to achieve this 90 year milestone of providing quality, selection and service,” said Rick Herring, president.

“Giant/Martin's is proud to be a better neighbor in the 200 local communities we serve and on behalf of our more than 32,000 associates, thank you for shopping with us.”
