STONINGTON — Edward Charles Chervanik, 88, of Stonington, entered into eternal rest with his family and friends by his side on Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Mountain View: A Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Coal Township.

He attended Sunbury schools and was a member of the graduating class of 1943. He was forever proud of his perfect attendance award received during his school years.
