LEWISBURG — Loren Charles Adams, 22, of 19 Springhouse Drive, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 7, 2014, at Geisinger Medical Center, Danville.
Loren was born in Bloomsburg on Nov. 27, 1991, a son of Don and Brenda (Byerly) Adams, of Lewisburg.
He attended elementary school in the Lewisburg Area School District and was a 2013 graduate of Warrior Run High School.
At the time of his passing, he was attending the United Cerebral Palsy Day Program.
Loren was a member of St. John’s United Church of Christ, Lewisburg.
He enjoyed listening to music, visiting with friends, traveling to the beach and the ocean, going on walks and rides in his van.
Loren was the joy of his parents’ lives, and he taught them the meaning of simple pleasures.
He is survived, in addition to his parents, by his uncle and aunt, Richard and Jeanne Adams, of Dornsife; as well as cousins; and special friends and caregivers, Edna Jane and Daniel Martin.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Eric Deloe; his paternal grandparents, Clyde and Arabel Adams; and maternal grandparents, Dorothy and Bruce Byerly.
Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at St. John’s United Church of Christ, Lewisburg, where a memorial service will follow at 11 with the Rev. Paula Gustafson officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Public Library for Union County, 255 Reitz Blvd., Lewisburg, PA 17837, or St. John’s United Church of Christ, 1050 Buffalo Road, Lewisburg, PA 17837.
